LCAP, Prop 28, DAC & DELAC
The Escalon Unified School District and the Escalon Charter Academy Local Control Accountability Plans (LCAP) are updated annually through an extensive process which involves:
- Review of data and development of student need
- Stakeholder input through community forums
- Development of a “draft” LCAP
- Review by Board of Trustees
- Review by District Advisory Committee (DAC) and District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
- Final Review by Board of Trustees
- Public hearing at an open session Board of Trustee meeting
- Approval by Board of Trustees
