LCAP, Prop 28, DAC & DELAC

The Escalon Unified School District and the Escalon Charter Academy Local Control Accountability Plans (LCAP) are updated annually through an extensive process which involves:

  • Review of data and development of student need
  • Stakeholder input through community forums
  • Development of a “draft” LCAP
  • Review by Board of Trustees
  • Review by District Advisory Committee (DAC) and District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
  • Final Review by Board of Trustees
  • Public hearing at an open session Board of Trustee meeting
  • Approval by Board of Trustees
