Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year

Dear EUSD Community,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year.  I am truly honored  to have been selected as the EUSD Superintendent.  I will work diligently in order to serve our students, staff, families and community.  The last couple of years have been challenging to say the least.  Yet, despite the challenges, our EUSD community has worked together to continue our focus on our students and their education.

Escalon Unified has continued to provide access to a variety of educational programs and opportunities for our students.  In my capacity as Assistant Superintendent, I was involved in the development of Career Technical Education Pathways at Escalon High School, supported the growth of the Collegeville Dual Language Immersion program, and assisted with the growing programmatic options at Gateway Charter Academy.

For the 2022-2023 school year, we will continue to focus on what is best for our students including our focus on in-person instruction, while maintaining our priority on student and staff safety. Our district will continue to focus on providing access to educational interventions for students who experienced learning loss, due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are planning a variety of student supports throughout the school year which will take place both during and after the school day.  Please look for information regarding those opportunities throughout the year.

Escalon Unified School District (EUSD) has a long and proud tradition of excellence in education.  I am proud and honored to work alongside our EUSD employees who work diligently to ensure student safety while making learning a priority. Our Board of Trustees is committed to high quality instruction that provides our students with a variety of safe schooling options with the ultimate goal of college and career readiness upon graduation.

We remain committed to our purpose: We will serve and connect with all students. We will do everything in our power to provide our students with the essential services they need to safely learn and graduate while maintaining fiscal solvency for our future students.

Thank you for your continued support of EUSD. The entire staff of the Escalon Unified School District looks forward to partnering with you in the upcoming school year to prepare your child(ren) to be our successful, responsible leaders of the future.
